Das ein Proton umgebende Mesonfeld bedingt eine Abweichung vom Cou\-lombschen Gesetz in der Wirkung des Protons auf eine andere Ladung (\textit{Fröhlich, Heitler, Kahn}, Proc. R. Soc. London, A 171 (1939), 269-280). Hier werden die Abänderungen angegeben, die durch die Heitlersche Annahme höherer Protonzu\-stände mit Ladungen \(Ne\)(\(N\neq1\)) entstehen.
