Separably \(\mathbb{A}^1\) connectedness was introduced in a previous paper [the authors, Algebr. Geom. 1, No. 5, 558--572 (2014; Zbl 1322.14074)] of the authors and is an analogue of separably rational connectedness in the non-proper setting. In this paper the authors prove two results about the arithmetics of simple separably \(\mathbb{A}^1\)-connected varieties of rank one. For both results we assume that \((X,D)\) is a proper, log smooth and separably \(\mathbb{A}^1\)-connected variety of rank one. The first result says that if \((X,D)\) is over a large field \(K\) and is simple, and if \(D\) is separably rationally connected (SRC), then through every \(K\)-point of \(D\) there is a very free \(\mathbb{A}^1\)-curve defined over \(K\). This generalizes a theorem of \textit{J. Kollár} [Ann. Math. (2) 150, No. 1, 357--367 (1999; Zbl 0976.14016)]. The second result roughly says the following. Let the SRC center of \((X,D)\) is defined over \(F\), which is the function field of a smooth projective algebraic curve \(B\) over an algebraically close field of characteristic 0. Let \(\pi:(\mathcal{X}, \mathcal{D})\to B\) be a model with generic fiber \((X,D)\). If \(T\) is a non-empty finite set of places on \(B\) containing the images of singularities of \(\mathcal{X}\) and \(\mathcal{D}\), then the \(T\)-integral points of \(\pi\) are Zariski dense. This generalizes a theorem of \textit{B. Hassett} and \textit{Y. Tschinkel} [Invent. Math. 173, No. 1, 7--21 (2008; Zbl 1170.14020)].
