This paper deals with the quasilinear supercritical problem: \[ -\Delta _{p}v=|v|^{q-2}v\quad \text{in } \Omega ; \qquad v=0\quad \text{on } \partial \Omega . \] Here \(\Omega \) is a smooth bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^{N}\) and \(1<p<N\) and \(q>p^{\ast}:=\frac{Np}{N-p}\). In the literature, there are numerous works dealing with the subcritical or critical case \(q\leq p^{\ast}\). However, the supercritical case \(q>p^{\ast}\) seems challenging and there are only some results for the semilinear case \(p=2\) but no results for the general \(p\)-Laplace case \(p\not=2\). The purpose of this paper is to establish the first existence result of multiple solutions (including positive and sign-changing) for the general \(p\)-Laplace case \(p\not=2\). To this goal, the authors need some symmetry assumptions on the underlying domain \(\Omega \) as in the semilinear case \(p=2\). Their proof is variational.
