The harmonic \(NA\) group is a one-dimensional solvable extension of an \(H\)-type group \(N\). Here \(N\) is an \(H\)-type Lie group and \(A\) is the multiplicative group of positive real numbers which acts on \(N\) via nonisotropic dilations with the homogeneous dimension \(Q\). The authors characterize some \(L^p\)-type eigenfunctions of the Laplace-Beltrami operator on harmonic \(NA\) groups corresponding to the eigenvalue \(\lambda=\rho^2-\beta^2\) for all \(\beta>0\), where \(\rho=Q/2\). They prove that for this eigenvalue \(\lambda\), an eigenfunctions of the Laplace-Beltrami operator is the Poisson transform of an \(L^p\)-function on \(N\) if and only if it satisfies the Hardy-type norm.
