Cluster categories are certain family of triangulated categories introduced by \textit{A. B. Buan} et al. [Adv. Math. 204, No. 2, 572--618 (2006; Zbl 1127.16011)] in order to provide a categorical approach for the study of cluster algebras associated to acyclic quivers. Many important features of cluster algebras can be understood using cluster categories. In particular, seed mutation-one of the most important notions in the theory of cluster algebras-corresponds to mutation of cluster tilting subcategories at the categorical level. In this sense, it is very interesting to investigate mutation of cluster tilting subcategories inside cluster categories. This categorical mutation is closely related to the study of torsion pairs inside triangulated categories and their mutations, as introduced by \textit{O. Iyama} and \textit{Y. Yoshino} [Invent. Math. 172, No. 1, 117--168 (2008; Zbl 1140.18007)]. The paper under review aims to describe in a rather explicit combinatorial way mutation of torsion pairs inside cluster categories associated to Dynkin quivers of type \(D\). This kind of torsion pairs have been previously classified by \textit{T. Holm} et al. [Adv. Appl. Math. 51, No. 5, 583--605 (2013; Zbl 1301.05021)] and the author uses this classification to achieve her goal. Moreover, the description is based on the combinatorial model of type \(D\) cluster categories in which isomorphism classes of indecomposable objects are represented by rotation-invariant pairs of arcs and diameters in a regular polygon.
