This paper illustrates a nice example of how holomorphic functions may satisfy \textit{better} estimates in the complex tangential directions. In particular, the author proves that on a smooth bounded domain \(\Omega\), if a holomorphic function \(f\) is Lipschitz-\(\alpha\), then \(f\) gains differentiability along the complex tangential directions near a boundary point \(P\). The gain depends on the D'Angelo type of the boundary point \(P\). This result generalizes an earlier theorem in [\textit{E. M. Stein}, Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 79, 440--445 (1973; Zbl 0257.35040)].
