The author completes his previous results about spectral asymptotics of differential operators L with domain in \(H^{2m}(\Omega)\) which are selfadjoint extensions of symmetric semibounded operators \(L_{\min}>0\) corresponding to differential operators \({\mathcal L}(x,D)\) of order 2m with infinitely differentiable coefficients in \({\bar \Omega}\), where \(\Omega\) is bounded region in \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) with boundary of class \(C^{\infty}\). It is supposed that \({\mathcal L}(x,D)\) is regularly elliptic in \({\bar \Omega}\) and formally selfadjoint. For such operators it is shortly proved that \[ N_+(\lambda;L)=w\lambda^{n/2m}+O(\lambda^{(n-1)/2m}),\quad \lambda \to \infty, \] \[ N_ -(\lambda;L)=O(\lambda^{(n-1)/2m}),\quad \lambda \to \infty, \] where \(N_+(\lambda;L)\), \(N_ -(\lambda;L)\) correspond to distribution of eigenvalues of L and \(w>0\) a constant.
