For a positive integer \(n\), the Euclidean \(n\)-dimensional space is denoted by \(\mathbb{R}^n\), and if \(X\) is a Lebesgue measurable subset of \(\mathbb{R}^n\), \(m\) is a positive integer, and \(p\geq 1\), then \(L^m_p(X)\) denotes the \(m\)-fold Cartesian product \(L_p(X)\times L_p(X)\times\cdots\times L_p(X)\) of power \(p\) integrable functions with norm \(\|\cdot\|_p\) defined by \[ \| f\|_p= \|(f_1,f_2,\dots, f_m)\|_p= \Biggl(\sum^m_{j=1} \int_X|f_j(t)|^p\,dt\Biggr)^{1/p}. \] The convolution operator \(A\) on \(L^m_p(X)\) is defined by \[ A(f)(y)= cf(y)+\int_{\mathbb{R}^n} k(y- t)f(t)\,dt, \] where \(c\) is a square matrix of order \(m\), and \(k\in L^{m\times m}_1(\mathbb{R}^n)\) is a square matrix of integrable functions on \(\mathbb{R}^n\). The operator \(A_X\) is defined in terms of an extension operator \(J_X\) and a restriction operator \(Q_X\) by \(A_X= Q_X AJ_X\), and if \(M\) is a closed convex polyhedron in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with vertex set \(E\), then a cone \(K_x\), with vertex \(0\) generated by the set \(M\)-\(x\), is assigned to each \(x\in E\). Statements of the first theorem of this paper indicate that: for a convolution operator \(A\) on \(L^m_p(X)\), \[ \lim_{\tau\to\infty}\| A^{-1}_{\tau M}\|= \max_{x\in E}\| A^{-1}_{K_x}\|, \] implying a second theorem which indicates that: if for \(\varepsilon> 0\), the \(\varepsilon\)-pseudospectra, \(\sigma_\varepsilon(A)\) is defined by \[ \sigma_\varepsilon(A)= \{\lambda: \|(\lambda I-A)^{-1}\|> 1/\varepsilon\}, \quad \text{then} \quad \lim_{\tau\to \infty}\sigma_\varepsilon(A_{\tau M})= \bigcup_{x\in E}\sigma_\varepsilon(A_{K_x}). \] In the main theorem of the paper, it is stated that, if \({\mathcal W}_M\) is a Banach algebra generated by convolution operators on the class of sets \(\{\tau M\}_{\tau> 0}\), and if \(\Theta\) is defined in terms of convolution operators of the form \(\Theta= \prod_{x\in E}\theta_x\), \(\theta_x:{\mathcal W}_M\to C_K\), then \(\Theta({\mathcal W}_M)\) is a closed subalgebra of \(\prod_{x\in E}C_{K_x}\), generated by all classes of the form \(\{Q_{K_x} AJ_{K_x}\}_{x\in E}\). The introduction of the paper includes references to earlier papers, including \textit{A.\,Böttcher}, \textit{S.\,M.\thinspace Grudsky} and \textit{B.\,Silbermann} [New York J.~Math.\ 3, 1--31 (1997; Zbl 0887.47025)].
