Let \(H\) be a hereditary algebra over an algebraically closed field. Then \(H\) has an associated cluster category; see \textit{A. B. Buan, R. Marsh, M. Reineke, I. Reiten} and \textit{G. Todorov} [Adv. Math. 204, No. 2, 572-618 (2006; Zbl 1127.16011)]. The endomorphism algebra of a cluster-tilting object \(T\) in the cluster category is known as a cluster-tilted algebra. The functor \(\Hom(T,-)\) induces an equivalence between a quotient of the cluster category and the finite dimensional module category of the (opposite algebra of the) endomorphism algebra of \(T\); see \textit{A. B. Buan, R. J. Marsh} and \textit{I. Reiten} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 359, No. 1, 323-332 (2007; Zbl 1123.16009)]. The article under review shows that tilting modules over a cluster-tilted algebra lift to cluster-tilting objects in the cluster category. This allows the description of the exchange relation for tilting modules over the cluster-tilted algebra induced from the exchange relation for cluster-tilting objects in the cluster category. The authors also use the result to show that tilting modules over cluster-tilted algebras can have cluster-tilted endomorphism algebras.
