Three-dimensional fundamental solution of wave propagation and transient heat transfer in non-homogeneous media (Q2655852)

The authors consider wave propagation and heat transfer equations for a medium with position-dependent material properties. A change of variables is introduced to reduce these equations to ones with constant coefficients. Then the use of Green's function or Laplace transform produces the solution.
