The authors introduce the notion of Löwner (ellipsoid) function for a log-concave function, as an extension of the Löwner ellipsoid for convex bodies. The main results refer to the fact that, for convex bodies, John and Löwner ellipsoids are dual to each other, but it is not necessarily the case for the John and Löwner functions.
