The authors study the notions of {expansivity, shadowing, mixing, sensitivity and transitivity at a point}. All these notions are introduced in a preliminary section. The main results of the paper are presented in Theorems 3.3, 3.5, 3.6 and 3.8. These results present necessary and sufficient conditions for these properties to be preserved under different kinds of convergence in the space of uniformly continuous self-maps of a metric space. They also present some examples at the end of the paper illustrating the topological nature of the sets of expansive, positively expansive, sensitive, transitive and mixing. It is proved that some of these properties are not preserved under uniform convergence alone and some other properties like {topological stability} and {\(\alpha\)-persistence} at a point are not preserved under pointwise convergence.
