Linear preserver problems provide an active research area in both matrix theory and operator theory. The purpose of this paper is to characterize bijective linear mappings preserving products equal to fixed matrices on \(M_n(\mathbb{C})\), the algebra of \(n\times n\) complex matrices. The following characterizations are presented. {Theorem 1.} Let \(N\in M_n(\mathbb{C})\) be a fixed matrix with \textrm{rank}\((N)\leq n-2\) and \(M\in M_n(\mathbb{C})\) be any fixed matrix. If \(f: M_n(\mathbb{C})\to M_n(\mathbb{C})\) is a bijective linear map such that \(f(A)f(B)=M\) whenever \(AB=N\), then there exists a nonzero \(\alpha \in \mathbb{C}\) and invertible \(U\in M_n(\mathbb{C})\) such that \(f(X)=\alpha UXU^{-1}\) for all \(X\in M_n(\mathbb{C})\). {Theorem 2. } Let \(M, N\in M_n(\mathbb{C})\) be fixed matrices of rank \(n-1\). Suppose that \(f: M_n(\mathbb{C})\to M_n(\mathbb{C})\) is a bijective linear map such that \(f(A)f(B)=M\) whenever \(AB=N\), then there exists a nonzero \(\alpha \in \mathbb{C}\) and invertible \(U\in M_n(\mathbb{C})\) such that \(f(X)=\alpha UXU^{-1}\) for all \(X\in M_n(\mathbb{C})\).
