Let \(X=(X,\textsf{d},{\mathfrak{m}})\) be a metric measure space satisfying the growth condition \({\mathfrak{m}}(B_r(\overline{x}))\le c_1e^{c_2r^2}\) for all \(r>0\), where \(c_1,c_2\) are positive constants, and \(B_r(\bar{x})\) represents the standard open ball in \(X\) of radius \(r\) and of center \(x\in X\), we denote \(X_{\mathfrak{m}}=(X,{\mathfrak{m}})\). Let \(H^{1,2}(X)\) be the classical Sobolev space endowed with the norm \(\|\cdot\|_{H^{1,2}(X)}\) such that for \(f\in L_2(X)\): \(\|f\|_{H^{1,2}(X)}^2=\|f\|^2_{L_2(X_{\mathfrak{m}})}+2\textsf{Ch}(f)\) where \(\textsf{Ch}(\cdot)\) is a positive convex \(L_2(X_{\mathfrak{m}})\)-lower semicontinuous functional on \(L_2(X_{\mathfrak{m}})\) which is called the Cheeger energy. A carré du champ is a \(L_1(X_{\mathfrak{m}})\)-valued map on \(H^{1,2}(X)\times H^{1,2}(X)\) such that \(\displaystyle \textsf{Ch}(f)=\frac{1}{2}\int_X\Gamma(f,f)\). Let \((g,f)\in L_2(X_{\mathfrak{m}})\times H^{1,2}(X)\). We write \(\Delta f=g\) if \(\displaystyle\int_Xhgd{\mathfrak{m}}=-\int_X\Gamma(f,h)d{\mathfrak{m}}\) for all \(h\in H^{1,2}(X)\).\\ \\ Let \(K\in\mathbb R\) and \(N>0\), we say that \(X\) is a \(RCD^*(K,N)\) metric measure space if for all \(f\in H^{1,2}(X)\cap D(\Delta)\) with \(\Delta(f)\in H^{1,2}(X)\) the following Bochner inequality is true in the weak form: \[\frac{1}{2}\Delta\Gamma(f)\ge \Gamma(f,\Delta f)+\frac{1}{N}(\Delta f)^2+K\Gamma (f).\] Therefore, the second section focuses on a few results of \(RCD^*(K,N)\) as convergence for Sobolev functions and heat flows. The third section deals with a description of \(TX\), the tangent bundle on \(X\), particularly the authors define the notion of Riemannian metric on \(X\) when \(\textsf{Ch}(\cdot)\) is a quadratic form (Proposition 3.2 and Lemma 3.3). The fourth section focuses on the study of the embedding of a smooth manifold (resp., a compact \(RCD^*(K,N)\) space \(X\)) to a \(L_2(X_{\mathfrak{m}})\)-space through the heat kernel. The fifth section concentrates on several convergence results via blow-up. The sixth section treats quantitative \(L_2\)-convergence for noncollapsed spaces. The seventh section is reserved to an appendix on expansion of the heat kernel.
