This paper generalizes the formula of Katok-Sarnak regarding Fourier coefficients of half-integral weight Maass forms. Through the Shimura correspondence, the half integral weight forms are related to integral weight forms. The theory of theta correspondence also shows that the Fourier coefficients of half-integral weight forms should equal to some period integrals of the integral weight forms. The Katok-Sarnak formula is an explicit relation when the integral weight form \(\varphi\) is a Maass form of weight 0 and level 1. This paper proves the explicit relation when \(\varphi\) has odd level and even weight. The result is an equation on the sum of \(\bar{b}_{\psi}(d) b_{\psi}(d')/\langle \psi,\psi\rangle\) where the sum is taken over \(\psi\) the half integral weight forms corresponding to \(\varphi\) under Shimura correspondence and \(b_{\psi}(d)\) is the \(d\)-th Fourier coefficient of \(\psi\). The sum equals a twisted trace associated to \(\varphi\). When \(d=d'\) the twisted trace is related to the central \(L\)-value of \(\varphi\). The proof uses Poincaré series and a trace formula approach.
