Hilbert series of parallelogram polyominoes (Q2671740)

Let \(K\) be a field and \(X\) be a \(m\times n\) matrix of indeterminates. The polyomino ideals \(I_\mathcal{P}\) are generated by sets of \(2\)-minors of \(X.\) Let \(\mathcal{P}\) be a polyomino and \(K[\mathcal{P}]\) be the associated coordinate ring. The authors present a conjecture about the reduced Hilbert series of \(K[\mathcal{P}]\) and they show that the conjecture holds for all simple polyominoes up to rank 11 and for all parallelogram polyominoes. They also give a combinatorial desription of the Gorensteiness of paralleogram polyominoes.
