The paper is devoted to the study of the asymptotic expansion of the tube function \(V_{f ,x_0}\) for a certain class of diffeomorphisms. Three forms of expansions are given. More precisely, a generalized full asymptotic expansion of the tube function \(V_{f ,x_0}\) is obtained. It is shown that the function \(V_{f,x_0}\) has a full asymptotic expansion in the power-logarithmic scale in the sense of Schwartz distributions. Also, a full pointwise asymptotic expansion of the continuous tube function \(V_{f,x_0}^c(\varepsilon)\) in the power-logarithm scale is given. One more result of the paper shows that the distance zeta function \(\zeta_{ f ,x_0}\) of a parabolic diffeomorphism \(f\) can be continued to a meromorphic function on the whole complex plane \(\mathbb{C}\), and that the poles and residues of it are related to the asymptotic expansion of the continuous time tube function \(V_{f ,x_0}^c(\varepsilon)\).
