The classification of smooth Fano three folds is well established by Iskovskikh-Mori-Mukai, and there are 105 families. The recent work [\textit{C. Araujo} et al., The Calabi problem for Fano threefolds. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2023; Zbl 07671763)] solves the Calabi problem for a general Fano threefold in each of the 105 families. However, there are still some families which we do not know whether every smooth member is \(K\)-polystable. The atticle under review settles the case \(N^02.8\), saying that every smooth Fano 3-fold of rank 2 and degree 14 as double cover is \(K\)-stable. The idea of the proof is a combination of many progress made on \(K\)-satbility in the past few years, e.g. the openness of \(K\)-stability by \textit{C. Xu} [EMS Surv. Math. Sci. 8, No. 1--2, 265--354 (2021; Zbl 1476.14030)] and \textit{H. Blum} et al. [Duke Math. J. 171, No. 13, 2753--2797 (2022; Zbl 1503.14040)], delta invariant of projective bundle by \textit{K. Zhang} and \textit{C. Zhou} [Math. Z. 300, No. 1, 179--207 (2022; Zbl 1491.14062)], the equivariant \(K\)-stability by \textit{Z. Zhuang} [Invent. Math. 226, No. 1, 195--223 (2021; Zbl 1483.14076)] and \textit{N. Ilten} and \textit{H. Süß} [Duke Math. J. 166, No. 1, 177--204 (2017; Zbl 1360.32020)], etc. The rest is about the explicit computation of beta-invariants and delta invariants.
