Limitations to equidistribution in arithmetic progressions (Q2683214)

In the paper under review, the authors follow [\textit{A. Granville} et al., Ann. Math. (2) 165, No. 2, 593--635 (2007; Zbl 1139.11040)] to further develop the theory of limitations to equidistribution in arithmetic progressions for a family of multiplicative functions \(f\) satisfying certain hypotheses. They examine main results, Theorems 4.1 and 4.2 on the paper, to several specific functions, including sequences of Beatty primes, integers free of small primes, and the divisor function supported on integers free of small primes. They also obtain limitations to equidistribution of primes in short arithmetic progressions.
