Problems on characters: solvable groups (Q2687296)

This is an interesting and timely article written by a master of his subject. The article discusses a number of open questions in the character theory of finite groups, with special emphasis on the problems which are open for solvable or \(p\)-solvable groups. The article also updates the status of some of the problems described in the author's earlier [Contemp. Math. 524, 97--125 (2010; Zbl 1235.20009)]. Many of the problems involve inequalities or equalities. There are also problems about zeros of characters, about natural correspondences, about fields of values, about character degrees, and about conjugacy classes.
