Weakly nonlinear stability of viscous flow past a flexible surface (Q2731200)

The authors analyse the nonlinear stability of viscous fluid flow past a flexible surface in the limit of vanishing Reynolds number. The system under consideration consists of a bottom rigid plate, a layer of polymer gel, a layer of viscous fluid, and a moving top plate. The authors investigate the plane problem on the bifurcation from Couette flow on the interface of viscous fluid and polymer gel.
