Equations of motion of a two-link inverted pendulum with asymmetric follower force at the elastically supported upper end are written in dimensionless form. Linearized analytic representation of manifolds of stationary states is considered. The curve of stationary states is constructed using the method of continuation by parameter. Phase portraits for situations, when there exist (i) five stationary states (three unstable and two stable); (ii) three stationary states (two stable and one unstable); (iii) one stable stationary state, are presented.
