The present paper is an excellent introduction to the theory of Lie algebroids endowed with almost complex structures. A special case is when the base manifold is also almost complex. The classes of Hermitian and Kählerian Lie algebroids are carefully studied and, for example, a Schur-type result is pointed out in the case of transitive Kähler Lie algebroids.
