The effect of 3D surface mounted obstacles on laminar, incompressible marginally separated boundary layer flows (English)

Viscous inviscid interaction at incipient separation is considered in the following two cases: the boundary layer flow in the leading edge region of a slender airfoil at small angle of attack, and the flow of a laminar viscous wall jet on a flat plate impinging on a smoothed ramp. Above a critical value of the angle of attack/wall slope ratio, the calculation terminates in form of a Goldstein singularity. Finally, the authors also consider the marginal separation singularity.
