The author considers the standard contact structure on \(S^3\). For the contact form \(\theta\), the characteristic vector field \(\xi\), the metric tensor and the associated endomorphism of the tangent bundle, explicit expressions in terms of the coordinate system on \(S^3\) defined by stereographic projection \(S^3\setminus\{\text{north pole}\}\to \mathbb{R}^3\) are given.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1298.53003].
