Delay differential evolutions subjected to nonlocal initial conditions (English)

This book contains recent results relating to the existence, boundedness, regularity, and asymptotic behavior of global solutions for differential equations and inclusions, with or without delay, subjected to nonlocal initial conditions. The book contains Motivation, Symbols Description, nine chapters, an extensive bibliography and an index. The contents are summarized below. In Chapter 1, the authors present some preliminaries, definitions, and results, needed for a good understanding of the book. In Chapter 2, local and global existence, uniqueness and asymptotic stability for abstract delay evolution equations with local initial conditions are proved. In Chapter 3, the authors present results on the existence, uniqueness, and global asymptotic stability for autonomous nonlinear delay evolution equations. In Chapter 4, the authors extend the results proved in Chapter 3 in the autonomous case to quasi-autonomous nonlinear delay evolution equations. In Chapter 5, the authors discuss sufficient conditions for nonlocal evolution equation with delay to have almost periodic solutions. In Chapter 6, a class of nonlocal nonlinear reaction-diffusion systems is considered and existence and global uniform asymptotic stability results are proved. Chapter 7 is concerned with the study of a class of nonlinear nonlocal delay differential evolution inclusions. In Chapter 8, the authors reconsider the problem studied in Chapter 6 in the more general case of a nonlinear multi-valued reaction-diffusion system with delay. Finally, in Chapter 9, viability results are studied for nonlocal evolution inclusions.NEWLINENEWLINEThis book will be useful to researchers and graduate students interested in delay evolution equations and inclusions subjected to nonlocal initial conditions.
