This paper deals with the study of critical currents in type II superconductors by using an approach based on maximum entropy interference. In such a way, the author gives a unified framework in which the dependence of critical currents on magnetic field, temperature and arbitrary field angle can be derived. One of the main results in the present paper gives maximum entropy expressions for angular data. The constraints used in deriving the maximum entropy expressions can all be given physical interpretations which are consistent with the known microscopic physics.
