In the present paper the author studies the fibrations and homotopy properties of compact homogeneous complex manifolds. Consider a Lie group \(G\) that acts transitively on such a manifold \(M\). Then the Lie group \(Aut_h(M)\) of all analytic automorphisms is also transitive on \(M\).NEWLINENEWLINEFirst, the author considers an important particular case: compact complex homogeneous spaces of the form \(G/D\) where \(D\) is a lattice (that is, a uniform discrete subgroup) in a connected and simply connected Lie group \(G\). Theorem 3. Let \(M=G/D\) be a compact complex homogeneous space of a simply connected complex Lie group \(G\) with a discrete stationary subgroup \(D\). Furthermore, let \(K\) be a maximal compact subgroup of \(G\), and let \(M_a = G/G\backslash D\) be the base of the natural bundle for \(M\). Then there is a homogeneous space \(M^\prime =G/D^\prime\) which a finite covering of \(M\) (\(D^\prime\) is a subgroup of finite index in \(D\)) such that the natural bundle for \(M^\prime\) is homotopy equivalent to the trivial bundle and, therefore the homogeneous space \(M^\prime\) is homotopy equivalent to the direct product \(K\times M^\prime _a\) (here \(M^\prime_a =K/G\backslash D^\prime)\).NEWLINENEWLINENext, the author studies arbitrary compact complex homogeneous spaces \(G/H\). The complex Lie group \(G\) is assumed to be connected and simply connected, but the stationary subgroup \(H\) need not to be discrete. Put \(P=N_G(H_0)\) (\(H_0\) is the connected component of the identity and \(N_G(H) \) is the normalizer of the subgroup \(H\) in \(G\)). The author obtains the following result concerning the arbitrary compact complex homogeneous spaces. Theorem 6. Let \(M=G/H\) be a compact complex homogeneous space. Suppose that the group \(F= N_G(H_0)/H_0\) is linear. Then some finite covering of \(M\) is a compact homogeneous space whose natural bundle is homotopically trivial. Hence \(M\) is homotopy equivalent to the direct product of the base \(M_a\) and the fibre \(M_c\) of the natural bundle for \(M\).
