Note on lattice-ordered rings with positive squares (English)

The authors construct an example to explain the difference between order-isomorphisms and lattice-isomorphisms. They show that in lattice-ordered rings the two kinds of isomorphisms coincide. Another result consists of proving that a lattice-ordered ring is a totally ordered division ring if and only if the set of its strictly positive elements is a group under the multiplication.
