The authors introduce tempered-stratified ultradistributions of Beurling and Roumieu type of order \(s>1\) on the subanalytic site \(X_{sa}\) relative to a real analytic manifold \(X\). The open sets in \(X_{sa}\) are the relatively compact subanalytic open subsets of \(X\) and the coverings are those admitting finite refinements. It is shown that the classical way of defining tempered ultradistributions on an open set \(U\subset X\) as global sections of ultradistributions modulo ultradistributions supported in the closed set \(X\setminus U\) does not give a sheaf on \(X_{sa}\). Instead, the authors consider the space of stratified ultradistributions on closed sets and study decomposability of these on finitely many subanalytic closed sets. Tempered-stratified ultradistributions on \(U\) are then defined as global ultradistributions modulo stratified ultradistributions supported in \(X\setminus U\). This defines a sheaf on \(X_{sa}\) if \(\dim X = 2\) while this is not the case for \(\dim X > 2\). If \(X\setminus U\) satisfies a regularity condition, the tempered-stratified ultradistributions on \(U\) coincide with classical tempered ultradistributions on \(U\). Using a different approach, similar results on decomposition of ultradistributions on closed sets were obtained by \textit{J.-M. Kantor} [Anais Acad. Brasil. Ci. 44, 171--180 (1972; Zbl 0261.46043)] and \textit{A. Lambert} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 29, No. 3, 57--100 (1979; Zbl 0396.46038)].
