Sufficient conditions are given to ensure the existence of positive solutions of the \(n\)th order differential equation NEWLINE\[NEWLINEx^{(n)}(t)+f(t,x(t))=0,NEWLINE\]NEWLINE coupled with the functional conditions \(\alpha_i(x^{(i)})=\xi_i\), \(i=0, \ldots,n-1\).NEWLINENEWLINEHere, \(\alpha_i\) is a functional that satisfies suitable properties and the \(f\) is continuous function verifying some given restrictions on its growth.NEWLINENEWLINEThe result holds by using the classical expansion/compression Krasnosel'skiĭ fixed point theorem. Applications to particular cases are showed.
