The authors consider an impulsive \(\varphi\)--Laplacian functional boundary value problem \[ \begin{aligned} &-\frac{d}{dt}(\varphi(t,x,x(t),x'(t))) = f(t,x,x(t),x'(t)) \quad \text{a.e. } t \in [0,1]\setminus\{t_1,\ldots, t_p\},\\ &g_0(x(0),x(1), x, x'(0),x'(1)) = (0,0),\\ &g_k(x(t_k+),x(t_k-),x,x'(t_k+),x'(t_k-)) = (0,0), \;k = 1,\ldots, p, \end{aligned} \] where \(0 < t_1 < \ldots < t_p < 1\), \(\varphi \in C([0,1]\times C^1_P \times {\mathbb R}^2)\), \(f \in \mathrm{Car}([0,1]\times C^1_P \times {\mathbb R}^2;{\mathbb R})\), \(g_k = (g_{k,1},g_{k,2}) \in C({\mathbb R}^2\times C^1_P \times {\mathbb R}^2; {\mathbb R}^2)\), for \(k = 0,\ldots,p\). Sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution to the given problem are found. The results are obtained under Nagumo conditions and the existence of a pair of well-ordered lower and upper solutions. The Leray-Schauder degree theory is used.
