As it is well known, conformal Killing forms are a natural generalization of conformal Killing vector fields. These forms have applications in physics related to hidden symmetries, conserved quantities, symmetry operators, or separation of variables.NEWLINENEWLINE In this paper, the authors prove two vanishing theorems of conformal Killing forms on a space-like totally umbilical submanifold of a Lorentzian manifold. Finally, they show an application of these results to electrodynamics in the general relativity theory.
