    For Banach spaces \(\mathcal X\) and \(\mathcal Y\), let \({\mathcal B}({\mathcal X},{\mathcal Y})\) denote the space of bounded linear maps from \(\mathcal X\) into \(\mathcal Y\) and \({\mathcal B}({\mathcal X}):={\mathcal B}({\mathcal X},{\mathcal Y})\) if \({\mathcal X}={\mathcal Y}\). Let \(W \in {\mathcal B}({\mathcal Y},{\mathcal X})\) be nonzero. We say that \(A \in {\mathcal B}({\mathcal X},{\mathcal Y})\) is \textit{\(Wg\)-Drazin invertible} if there exists a unique \(B \in {\mathcal B}({\mathcal X},{\mathcal Y})\) such that \(AWB=BWA\), \(BWAWB=B\) and \(A-AWBWA\) is quasinilpotent. In that case, \(B\) is called the \textit{\(Wg\)-Drazin inverse} of \(A\) and is denoted by \(A^{d,W}\). When \({\mathcal X}={\mathcal Y}\) and \(W=I\), \(A^{d,W}\) is denoted by \(A^d\) and is called the \textit{generalized Drazin inverse} of \(A\). Let \({{\mathcal B}({\mathcal X})}^d\) denote the set of all generalized Drazin invertible operators on \({\mathcal B}({\mathcal X})\). It is easy to see that \(A\) is \(Wg\)-Drazin invertible if and only if \(AW \in {{\mathcal B}({\mathcal Y})}^d\), which in turn is equivalent to \(WA \in {{\mathcal B}({\mathcal X})}^d\). Let \(W \in {\mathcal B}({\mathcal Y},{\mathcal X})\) and \(A,C \in {\mathcal B}({\mathcal X},{\mathcal Y})\) with \(A\) being \(Wg\)-Drazin invertible. We say that \(A {\leq }^{d,W} C\) if \((AW)^dAW=(AW)^dCW\), \(AW(AW)^d=CW(AW)^d\), \((WA)^dWA=(WA)^dWC\) and \(WA(WA)^d=WC(WA)^d\). Then \({\leq }^{d,W}\) is a \textit{pre-order} on the set of all \(Wg\)-Drazin invertible operators of \({\mathcal B}({\mathcal X},{\mathcal Y})\). The relation \({\leq }^{d,W}\) is characterized and new pre-orders on the set of all \(Wg\)-Drazin invertible operators of \({\mathcal B}({\mathcal X},{\mathcal Y})\) are considered. Using these results, new binary relations are proposed, generalizing results known for complex rectangular matrices. Also, a generalized Drazin pre-order on \({{\mathcal B}({\mathcal X})}^d\) is introduced and is extended to a partial order.
