In [the first and the second author, Order 32, No. 2, 189--204 (2015; Zbl 1322.06007)], conditions were given under which a generalized pseudo effect algebra admits a unitization, i.e., an embedding as an order ideal into a pseudo effect algebra (with unit). This paper is a continuation of this work discussing related questions of congruences, ideals, and the Riesz decomposition property.
