The paper considers different notions of cell decomposition in o-minimal and weakly o-minimal structures. The authors introduce the notion of strong continuous extension (SCE) cells and prove that every weakly o-minimal structure with SCE-cell decomposition has the open cell property. They also give an example of a weakly o-minimal structure with strong cell decomposition but without SCE-cell decomposition.
