Extending structures, Galois groups and supersolvable associative algebras (Q314478)

This paper classifies all unital associative algebras containing a subalgebra \(A\). The authors introduce a new product, called the unified product. This product generalizes the classical crossed product and the twisted tensor product. Then, the authors study the supersolvable algebras introduced as the associative algebra counterpart of supersolvable Lie algebras. Explicit examples are also given.
