The main theorems of the paper give the continuous solutions of the following two functional equations: \[ \int_G\left(f(xyt)+f(x\tau(y)t)\right)d\mu(t)=2f(x)f(y),\quad x,y\in G, \] and \[ \int_Gf(xyt)d\mu(t)+\int_Gf(x\tau(y)t)d\nu(t)=2f(x)f(y),\qquad x,y\in G, \] where \(G\) is a locally compact Hausdorff group, \(\tau: G\to G\) is a continuous involution, \(\mu\) and \(\nu\) are regular, compactly supported, complex-valued Borel measures on \(G\).
