The mod 2 Hopf ring for connective Morava \(K\)-theory (Q331941)

Let \(k(r)\) be an \(\Omega\)-spectrum that represents the \(r\)th connective Morava \(K\)-theory spectrum at the prime \(2\). The collection of mod \(2\) homology groups of the spaces that constitute the levels of the spectrum \(k(r)\) forms a Hopf ring. In the present paper, the author determines an explicit set of generators for this Hopf ring, and he shows that its destabilization function restricts to that of the Hopf ring resulting from the Eilenberg-Mac Lane spectrum \(H \mathbb F_2\) in place of \(k(r)\). The paper is based on results by \textit{P. G. Goerss} [Contemp. Math. 239, 115--174 (1999; Zbl 0954.55006)] and complements earlier work by \textit{S.-i. Hara} [J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 31, No. 1, 43--70 (1991; Zbl 0731.55003)] and \textit{W. S. Wilson} [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 20, 1025--1036 (1984; Zbl 0564.55004)].
