The authors study simple transitive \(2\)-representations of a certain \(2\)-subquotient \(\mathcal{Q}_n\) of the \(2\)-category of Soergel bimodules for the dihedral group \(D_{2\cdot n}\), where \(n\geq 3\). For \(n=3\), this \(2\)-category fits into the setup of the author's paper on Transitive \(2\)-representations of finitary \(2\)-categories and the classification result from this paper is directly applied. For \(n>3\), the \(2\)-category \(\mathcal{Q}_n\) the authors had to develop another methods. They show that every simple transitive \(2\)-representation of \(\mathcal{Q}_5\) is equivalent to a cell \(2\)-representation. They also show that, apart from cell \(2\)-representations, there is a unique, up to equivalence, simple transitive \(2\)-representation of \(\mathcal{Q}_4\). The corresponding \(2\)-representation is explicitly constructed. Construction of this new \(2\)-representation is based on the careful interplay of several category-theoretic tricks. The authors' conclusion is that the case \(n>5\), at that moment, computationally appears to be too difficult.
