The authors study the existence, multiplicity and stability of positive solutions for problems \[ \begin{aligned} -\Delta u =a(x)|u|^{p-2}u \quad&\text{in } \Omega, \\ \frac{\partial u}{\partial\mathbf n}= \lambda |u|^{q-2}u \quad&\text{on } \partial\Omega.\end{aligned} \] Here \(\Omega\) is a bounded, smooth domain in \(\mathbb{R}^N\), \(N\geq 2\), \(\lambda>0\) and \(\displaystyle 1<q<2<p<2^* = \frac{2N}{N-2}\) (if \(N>2\)) or \(\infty\) (if \(N = 2\)). The super-linear power in the equation, combined with the sub-linear power in the boundary condition, place the problem in the class of \textit{concave-convex} elliptic problems. The authors use bifurcations, comparison techniques and variational methods to obtain their results.
