The author studies limit differential inclusions for nonautonomous differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side where solutions are understood in the sense of Filippov, i.e. they are solutions of an appropriate differential inclusion. An analogue of the LaSalle's invariance principle is proved by means of Lyapunov functions with derivatives of constant sign. The conclusion is that the \(\omega\)-limit set of a bounded solution lies in the set of zeros of the derivative of the Lyapunov function. The case of piecewise continuous functions is discussed and illustrated by an example.
