This paper aims to obtain Hartman type and Lyapunov type inequalities related to Riemann-Liouville fractional Dirichlet boundary value problems having a special nonlinearity of the form \[ \begin{cases} \left({_{a}D}^{\alpha}x\right)(t)+p(t)|x(t)|^{\mu-1}x(t)+q(t)|x(t)|^{\gamma-1}x(t)=f(t),\quad0<\alpha\leq2,\\ x(a)=0,\quad x(b)=0, \end{cases}\tag{1} \] where \(0<\gamma<1<\mu<2\). \(\Theta(x):=|x|^{\mu-1}x\) and \(\theta(x):=|x|^{\gamma-1}x\) stand for sup and sub-linear operators, respectively. In the BVP (1), \(p(t)\) and \(q(t)\) are potential functions and \(f(t)\) is a forcing term on the interval \([a,b]\). The authors divide their investigation into two cases as follows: {\parindent=10mm \begin{itemize}\item[{\((I_{1})\)}] In the first case, the Hartman type and Lyapunov type inequalities are affected by the both sub and sup-linear operators \(\theta(x)\) and \(\Theta(x)\). This step, by itself is divided into the couple of subcases: {\parindent=16mm \begin{itemize}\item[(i)] Nontrivial solution \(x(t)\) of the BVP (1) is positive (\(x(t)>0\)). \item[(ii)] Nontrivial solution \(x(t)\) of the BVP (1) is negative (\(x(t)<0\)). \end{itemize}} \item[{\((I_{2})\)}] In the second case, the Hartman type and Lyapunov type inequalities are obtained for either the sub-linear or the sup-linear operators. Namely, there are two subcases related to the potential functions \(p(t)\) and \(q(t)\) as follows: {\parindent=16mm \begin{itemize}\item[(i)] \(p(t)\equiv0\), that is the sub-linear case for the resulting Hartman type and Lyapunov type inequalities. \item[(ii)] \(q(t)\equiv0\), that is the sup-linear case for the resulting Hartman type and Lyapunov type inequalities. \end{itemize}} \end{itemize}} As an application, based on the obtained inequalities, the authors present disconjugacy criteria for the BVP (1) on \([a,b]\), in the each of above cases.
