This article discusses strong proximinality of the closed unit ball of closed linear subspaces of \(L_1\)-predual spaces. In the field of this paper, researchers are interested in characterizing sets or subspaces that are proximinal, remotal, strongly proximinal or strongly remotal. The current paper treats strong proximinality. Overall, this paper is an excellent contribution to the field. Most results in this paper are about strong proximinality and unit balls of certain predual spaces. The following is among the most interesting results in this paper. Theorem 3.5. If \(X\) is a Banach space having the \(3. 2.\) intersection property, then every \(M\)-ideal in \(X\) is strongly ball proximinal in X. In particular, \(M\)-ideals in \(L_1\)-predual spaces are strongly ball proximinal. This is a nice sufficient condition for ball strong proximinality of \(M\)-ideals in \(n.2.\) Banach spaces. On the other hand, results treating finite co-dimension spaces are proved in \(C(K),\) when \(K\) is a compact Hausdorff space. The following is the main result in this direction. Proposition 4.2. Let \(K\) be a compact Hausdorff space and \(\{\mu_1,\ldots,\mu_n\}\subset S_{C(K)*}\). If supp\((\mu_i)\) is finite for \(1\leq i\leq n\), then \(\bigcap_{i=1}^{n}{\text{ker}}(\mu_i)\) is strongly ball proximinal in \(C(K)\). Then many other consequences of main theorems are proved.
