Optimization is an extremely important aspect of mathematical as well as technological work. Different kinds of conditions, necessary and/or sufficient, would always attract much attention in research endeavours. In classical fields of studies involving control problems various areas of investigations are of much value, theoretically and also practically. The author has considered here an interesting class of age-structured control problems together with non-local boundary conditions and dynamics. Arrow-type sufficient criteria are suggested for optimality situations defined on different time intervals, finite or otherwise. Mathematical models and examples are treated in this connection. In this 18-page paper there are all kinds of standard requirements fully met in 5 sections with definitions, lemmas, theorems, remarks and propositions. Proofs are also provided. The reference list has 24 entries of immediate relevance. There are 67 equations. The subject matter is covered in sections entitled: Introduction and general model, statements and suppositions, sufficient conditions for optimality of finite/infinite horizon control problems and applications inclusive of offence control problems. Undoubtedly practical questions of equally fertile nature can be dealt with on similar lines. Sufficient conditions in par with the famous Pontryagin's necessary optimality conditions can also be developed.
