      Let \(\Omega\) be a bounded domain. In this paper, the authors prove, by using the compactness method, the existence and uniqueness of the strong solution of the following initial boundary value problem: \[ \begin{cases} \frac{\delta u }{ \delta t } - P_{\alpha,\beta} u + f(u)= g(x), \quad X \in \Omega ,t> 0, \\ u(X,t)= 0, \quad X \in \delta\Omega, t> 0, \\ u(X,0)= u_{0} (X), \quad X \in \Omega, \end{cases} \] where the initial datum \(u_{0} \in S^{1}_{0} (\Omega)\cap L^{p} (\Omega)\), with \( S^{1}_{0} (\Omega) \) a weighted Sobolev space. Moreover they study the continuity of strong solution applying an interpolation inequality between weighted Sobolev spaces and a method based on the uniform boundedness of \( t u(t)\) in \( L^{\infty} (0,T;S^{2}_{0} ( \Omega)) \), where \( S^{2}_{0} \) is another weighted Sobolev space. Then they study the long-time behavior of strong solutions, using the theory of global attractors.
