\textit{V. M. Kadets} [Quaest. Math. 19, No. 1--2, 225--235 (1996; Zbl 0855.47021)] introduced the following definition related to the anti-Daugavet property: A Banach space \(X\) is called alternatively convex or smooth (acs) if, for every \(x, y \in S_X\) with \(\|x + y\| = 2\) and every \(x^* \in S_{X^*}\) with \(x^*(x) = 1\), one has \(x^*(y) = 1\) as well. Uniform and locally uniform versions of acs (called uacs and luacs) were defined by the reviewer et al. [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 352, No. 2, 855--873 (2000; Zbl 0938.46016)], and two further generalizations called sluacs and wuacs were introduced recently by the author [Banach J. Math. Anal. 8, No. 1, 295--334 (2014; Zbl 1284.46012)]. The present paper is devoted to the study of conditions under which a Köthe-Bochner space possesses one of these properties. A typical result is as follows: If \(E\) is an order-continuous acs Köthe function space and \(X\) is an acs Banach space, then \(E(X)\) is acs as well. The case of acs, uacs and luacs for \(L_p(X)\) was considered earlier by \textit{G. Sirotkin} [Houston J. Math. 27, No. 4, 897--906 (2001; Zbl 1030.46043)].
