Let \(\psi\) be a Bernstein function of \(n\) variables. Let \(A=(A_1,\dots,A_n)\) denote an \(n\)-tuple of commuting operators, which are generators of uniformly bounded \(C_0\) semigroups on a complex Banach space. In the previous works of the author (see, for example, [Probl. Fiz. Mat. Tekh. 2009, No. 1(1), 60--61 (2009; Zbl 1262.47022)]), it is defined a value \(\psi(A)\) of such a function \(\psi\) at \(A\). The mapping \(\psi\longmapsto\psi(A)\) is called Bochner-Phillips (or Hille-Phillips type) functional calculus. The main result of the article is the proof of the inclusion \[ \sigma(\psi(A))\supseteq\psi(\sigma_T(A)), \] where \(\sigma(\,\cdot\,)\) and \(\sigma_T(\,\cdot\,)\) denote a spectrum and Taylor spectrum of the corresponding operators, respectively.
