After the Beurling type characterization of shift-invariant subspaces of the Bergman space due to \textit{A. Aleman, S. Richter} and \textit{C. Sundberg} [Acta Math. 177, No. 2, 275--310 (1996; Zbl 0886.30026)], there have been several representations of shift-invariant subspaces using different methods. In the present note, the authors present another representation for \(S_n\)-invariant subspaces of \(\mathcal A_n(Y)\), where \(S_n\) denotes the shift operator acting on \(\mathcal A_n(Y)\) given by Hilbert valued analytic functions on the disk which are square integrable with the weight \((1-|z|^2)^{n-2}\). Their method is traced to the de~Branges-Rovnyak approach to Beurling's theorem for Hardy spaces. For \(n\geq 2\), it is shown that \(\mathcal M\) is a closed \(S_n\)-invariant subspace of \(\mathcal A_n(Y)\) if and only if \(\mathcal M= \Phi . H^2(H)\) for certain Hilbert space \(H\) and certain function \(\Phi:\mathbb D\to \mathcal L(H,Y)\) such that \(M_\Phi(f)=\Phi f\) is a contraction from \(H^2(H)\) into \(\mathcal A_n(Y)\) such that the associated reproducing kernel Hilbert space \(\mathcal H(K_\Phi)\) is isometrically included into \(\mathcal A_n(Y)\).
