For \(X\) a compact Hausdorff topological space and \(F\) a strictly convex and reflexive (real or complex) Banach space, the surjective isometries of certain subspaces of the space of continuous \(F\)-valued functions \(C(X,F)\) are characterized. Subspaces which are considered contain the constant functions and satisfy an additional separability constraint. First, the extreme points of the unit ball of the dual space of subspaces of \(C(X,F)\) are described and then it is shown that surjective isometries on subspaces satisfying the mentioned conditions can be represented as weighted composition operators. Let us quote just one of the main theorems of the paper. Theorem 5.1. Let \(X\) be a compact metric space, \(F\) be a strictly convex and reflexive Banach space, \(p>1\) and \(0<\alpha<1\). If \(T\) is a surjective isometry on \(\mathrm{lip}^{\alpha}_{p}(X,F)\) that preserves the constant functions, then there exist a surjective isometry \(U:F\to F\) and an isometry \(\tau:X\to X\) such that \((Tf)(x)=U(f(\tau(x)))\) for all \(f\in \mathrm{lip}^{\alpha}_{p}(X,F)\) and \(x\in X\).
